Travel, Parking, and Lodging

Transportation

On this page, we suggest public transportation options for attendees who are planning to stay at hotels in Minneapolis, but also highlight parking options for individuals who wish to drive their own cars. If you’re coming straight here, we would suggest that you use the address of Nicholson Hall (216 Pillsbury Dr SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455) for your broad strokes directions purposes (what highways and exits to take), then the map we’ve appended below for your parking needs.

Note on Public Transportation: all bus and light rail routes listed are high frequency, which means they leave every 10-15 minutes on weekends. If the walk to a bus or transit station is 0.5 miles or longer, it is noted here. The website www.metrotransit.com will provide more information on specific routes, and Google Maps can also help you to find the ideal bus connections to get you closest to Nicholson Hall.

Google Maps
On Google Maps, select the symbol that resembles a train in order to see bus and light rail travel options. If driving, the car symbol to the left of the train will provide good turn-by-turn guidance.

If taking the Green Line from downtown, get off at the East Bank stop (marked with a green dot in the parking map below).
